For Charity, For Fun, We Run!
The SJVRC (San Jose Viet Running Club) is a non-profit organisation formed in 2016 by Vietnamese living abroad. The purpose of this organisation is to provide opportunities for its members to develop healthy lifestyles while giving back to the community. They do this by volunteering and fundraising to support the less fortunate children of Vietnam through their charity One Mile 4 One Child.
One Mile 4 One Child’s mission is to create real and lasting changes in the lives of Vietnamese children and in communities in need.
‘For Charity, for Fun, we Run’ is the heart of this charity.
Providing financial support to various orphanages in Vietnam through fundraising efforts. As well as projects to build new facilities for schools in remote areas of Vietnam.
Having fun whilst running, fundraising and socialising in the Vietnamese community.
Creating a supportive environment where members can achieve personal health goals through running.
